Our Australian's Favourite!

Welcome to our Australian journey! The picture above shows Coles, one of the several supermarkets that we both often visited to buy our groceries and fresh meats. Yes, in Perth, if you want to buy fresh meat, you would have to go to supermarket - because there isn't any wet market or pasar pagi here!

We also visited other major supermarkets such as Woolworths, Kmart and Supa IGA - which is the nearest supermarket to our house.

Other than buying groceries, we also indulge in 'pleasure purchase' - such as snacks! There are a wide variety of potato chips and tidbits that are very sinful, yet pleasurable.

Smith's Potato Chips - our favourite potato chips in Australia. Vian can eat them everyday as supper. And they have variety of flavors available too - Cheese & Onion, Salt & Vinegar, Original, BBQ Chicken, and our most crave-after flavor - Sweet Thai Chili Sauce!

The normal price is AUD 3.29 per pack. However, we usually will wait until they are on offer (AUD 1.99), then only we made a mad dash to buy them from K-Mart or Supa IGA.

Next on the list, Red Rock Deli Potato Chips. They are the King of Potato Chips, yet quite expensive and a bit tad luxurious for our budget. Each pack costs us around AUD 4.50 - thus making it a "once in a blue moon indulgence". =P

Doritos Cheese Nachos. Another must-buy when they're on offer. Taste cheesier than cheese!

The say "chocolates are food for the happy soul". We couldn't agree more. Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate bars just taste so milky....so sweet....so chocolatey....and so happy!!

Now, this is my "sin food". I have a bad habit of eating Peanut Butter right from the jar - without bread or biscuit. Taste so heavenly, yet so fattening.

Ok. Let me make this clear. There is no other milk in the world which taste better than our Marigold HL Milk back home! But, since there is no HL Milk available here, we then settled for the second best - PURA Light Start Milk - for our daily calcium fix.

We are peach loving people. Back home, we would always order Iced Peach Tea or Iced Blended Peach with Lychee. At here, we can satisfy our craving for peach with this Goulburn Valley's Peach Slices.

Last but not least, Fresh Strawberries! Big, red and juicy, they are just as good as those planted in Cameron Highlands back home.

Thanks for viewing. Now, please excuse us because we would like to get back to our potato chips.......Haha!
