DESPERATE!! DESPERATE!!
We are so desperate for Malaysian's food...That is why we cooked our own wanton mee..

I m so surprise to know that the oriental shop here in Perth have actually sell fresh wanton noodle and the wanton skin. But too bad..our wanton noodles lack of the most important 'element' which is the char siu. (BBQ pork)

This is the filling prepared by Ryan

The filling are made of minced chicken, garlic, egg, corn flour, oyster sauce, soy sauce and pepper.
We got this recipe from the internet!

After all the ingredients are prepared, we can start with the job of wrapping the filling with the wantan skin. There are something very unbelievable. I have actually learn the method of wrapping the wantan from my dear. He is very good in wrapping wantan. Can anyone believe this???

the process

Wantons that contain lots of love and effort!

We preferred pan fry rather than boil it in the soup

After the wantons, we need to make some kind of sauce to mix with the wanton noodle. The sauce are the combination of dark soy sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce and a little bit of salt.

Hot water

The preparation of the wanton noodle are the most difficult process.
Firstly, we need to soak the noodle into a pot of hot water......
then cold water and last the hot water again.

cold water

finally..ready to eat
