Mothers @ Perth

September was indeed a hectic month for us. After sending off Vian's friends back to KL, both our moms arrived for a 4D 3N trip the following week. Thanks to Air Asia - now everyone can fly indeed!

In hindsight, it was a blessing for us given the fact that life in Perth is pretty 'lifeless' and boring. Thus, any visitors be it friends or families are guaranteed welcomed with open arms! :)

As tourist attractions in Perth are few and far between, you're bound to view some repetitive photos of some places that we've covered with her friends in the previous entry.

Among the places that we visited are Kings Park and its botanical garden.

Vian and her second bf :P

The next day, we woke up early as we've decided the day before to make a day trip to Swan Valley. In case you've forgotten, it's the place that's renowned for producing wine, nougats and chocolates.

Wine tasting at Houghton's winery.

Free wine tasting are available at every winery in Swan Valley.

In order to get free tasting, you'll have to produce your personal I.D. for them to ensure that you're 18 and above. We were given a select few types of grape wine to taste, but found most of them do not suit our palates except for the fruity-like white wine.

My mom's favourite - nougats factory (Mondo's Nougats).

We bought nougats in bulk - since they're the best thing to come out from Perth since koalas. :P

It was a different kind of fun travelling with our moms who're more laidback and enjoy the sceneries at Perth; contrast to travelling with bunch of friends who're more fun-loving and adventurous.

This month, we won't be having so much fun anymore. It's time to get back on work and studies and to endure the following two months before we have our summer break and embarking on our Christmas and New Year escapades!
